Sharon Square Charlotte
Sharon Square Exquiste Dining in Charlotte
A Variety of Chef-Driven Concepts Including a Wine Bar
Sharon Square is developing quite a line-up of restaurants led by the recently opened and very popular Dogwood Southern Table by Dresslers. Corkbuzz, a New York wine bar, and Rusty Bucket, an all american grill, will open summer 2015 and are expected to be great compliments to Dogwood. A signature restaurant is being marketed on the ground floor of the SunTrust Building, a space that is impressive and highly visible.

Read more about our restaurant options below and know that our parking is ample and includes on-street parking, ground level and dedicated deck parking in close proximity to the offerings.

Brewing in 2016...

Since its first store opened in 1971, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. The coffee company’s mission is to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time. It’s not unusual to see people coming to Starbucks to chat, meet up or even work. It has become a gathering place nationwide, a part of the daily routine for many. Starbucks will fit and amplify the walkable, neighborhood feel for which Sharon Square is becoming so well known.

Meet me at the Bucket...

The Rusty Bucket is a restaurant and tavern that takes great pride in crafting all that they plate and pour. They serve it all with genuine joy and hospitality that makes regulars out of parents, kids, grandparents, singles and couples. This restaurant will bring Sharon Square that "meet you there" neighborhood necessity; a cool place that always delivers a warm welcome and comfort food for all.

Jon Dressler does it again...

Dogwood, a Dressler’s restaurant, will offer something different from existing SouthPark restaurants. The menu will feature familiar items such as fried green tomatoes, corn and butter bean succotash, N.C. shrimp and grits and slow-braised beef brisket, ribs and prime rib. A beverage program will offer specialties such as Cheerwine in glass bottles, French press coffee and infused drinks from blends made in-house. Dogwood will offer locally sourced items from produce to beer. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with brunch served on weekends.

Manhattan comes to Charlotte...

Corkbuzz Restaurant and Wine Bar, owned by Master Sommelier Laura Maniec, is many things: a wine bar, where you can meet with friends and make new ones, a wine-centric restaurant, where wine lovers come together to share their common enthusiasm for wine, a home base for wine education, where you can take fun classes to help you understand what you like in a wine or more in-depth classes that can provide you with the knowledge to pursue a career in wine and an event space, where wine dinners and parties encourage new conversations and relationships.

Solis Sharon Square apartments 70 percent leased

Terwilliger Pappas’ newest apartment development - Solis Sharon Square - is about 70 percent leased, developer Peter Pappas told me on a recent tour of the property.

The upscale mixed-use development has also leased about half of its retail space, with restaurant Dogwood Southern Table open and Corkbuzz and Rusty Bucket to follow by June. The development also includes Charlotte’s first Whole Foods and SunTrust’s regional headquarters.

Solis Sharon Square has leased 167 out of 239 units. Pappas said two-bedrooms have been especially strong. The Latham building is fully leased, and the Graham building is still leasing as workers finish the final common spaces.
